Free (Kindle DRM-free) Kill Her, You'll Like It by Michael Avallone [Vintage Mystery]

Kill Her, You'll Like It! by the late Michael Avallone (ISFDB, SYKM, Wikipedia) is the 26th novel in his Ed Noon series of vintage pulp mystery/crime thrillers starring the eponymous NYC P.I., this one pitting him against a serial killer who targets strippers, as he tries to protect a client who is one, free for a limited time courtesy of publisher Story Merchant Books.

This was originally published in 1973 by Curtis.

Currently free (and DRM-free) @ Amazon (available to Canadians & in the UK and pretty much everywhere else worldwide that Amazon sells, since this is being done via their KDP Select exclusive-or-else program)

Description
The killer called himself the Gingerbread Man and his specialty was slicing strippers. He was working his way through the who's who of flesh peddlers like a hungry moth eating its way through a new suit... until it came to Ada Ven's turn.

She was the country's top peeler and she wanted to be protected... by someone with a sympathetic heart and a big reputation--Ed Noon. So Noon found himself locked in a hotel suite with Ada and her ex-husband, a midget with a giant chip on his shoulder, trying to keep his mind on business and waiting for a madman with a knife who wanted to steal Ada's heart away...
