Kindle App is NOT a Kindle DEVICE.

If Calibre is ON the same computer:
you need to change
Preferences :Behavior: (use internal viewer for column) and REMOVE the tics for the formats you want to use the Kindle APP to view
Then when you click View (or tap V), the book should open in the system registerd viewer for that format.

If Calibre is on a DIFFERENT computer from the mac book pro:
Use Send to Folder (folder needs to be mapped to)
