I totally like your idea...but I guess we won#t find anybody who makes this kind of cover...at least not at anything close to payable pricing...^^
And DIY would be a bit hard for a case like that...making a plug to connect to the Iliad and creating a power-regulator that protects your Iliad from too much power coming in through the solar cells...
But it's something I really would love to see...:-)
