The only way getting rid of digital geo-blocking really works is for authors/publishers to sell worldwide rights (or at least world wide rights for specific languages) instead of selling them by individual market. Publishers have to be on board with it too though (some are already) both in being willing to buy the worldwide rights and in making the content available (Some hold broad rights, but still restrict their sales to select markets). Books are small potatoes in this compared to movies, television & music though.
