Restart vs 40-Second Restart
Is there a difference between: 1) restarting the Kindle via the menus, 2) restarting the Kindle by holding the power button 7 seconds then using the onscreen prompt, and 3) restarting the Kindle by holding the power button for a full 40 seconds?
A friend of mine recently contacted Kindle support, and they said the 40-second restart was more thorough than the other two methods. But when I contacted Kindle support to find out what the difference was, they said there was no difference.
