Hi! I just joined recently as I was looking around for information on the kindle 2 and found this site to be the most helpful and enjoyable to browse.

I live in Pullman, WA which is a fairly small college town in eastern Washington. I graduated from WSU here with a degree in philosophy and ended up staying as I prefer the small town atmosphere with big town aspirations.

AS I've gotten older, I've noticed that I spend less and less of my time playing video games and more time reading books. I think you'll understand if I say that I didn't think this would ever happen after trying to read Kant for a semester, but I find I get more satisfaction from reading than playing the latest FPS. Not that they don't still have some role to play in my life!

So, I ended up purchasing the new Kindle and can barely contain myself waiting for it!

Here's to a exciting new way to rediscover books!
