After years and years of effort, I've basically finished ripping my normal CD-collection... so now I'm moving on to the boxes of classical music I have, such as "The Complete Works of Johann Sebastian Bach" and others.
Thank god for online music databases such as MusicBrainz Picard, CTDB, and others. Without them, ripping classical music would be an even greater pain in the @ar$3 than it is already because of its sheer size (My Bach set is 160 CD's, but I'm not going to rip the vocal works and the cantata's, because I'm not interested in sung liturgical music.)
This is one of the advantages of physical media. When you buy something, you put it onto the shelf in the correct spot, and you're done. Getting my ebook and music libraries into shape has taken an ungodly amount of time over the years.
And then, some people wonder why I wake up in the middle of the night, screaming, to check if all of my backups are available and readable. Everything I have can be replaced if need be, but I *don't* want to spend more than half a decade again to get everything in order.
