I'm going to try something new. Actually, I think that I've done it a time or two recently.

Packt (a computer-related technology publisher) has ebooks they ordinarily sell, every day; one of those they offer free each day. The digital list price of probably most of these is well over a hundred dollars. The trick, of course, is catching one that you would like to have, on a day when it's free.

I'm going to commit to post some of these for the foreseeable future. I won't post all of them, but only the ones in which I have actually heard of what they are writing about (most of the time, I do not). My thinking is that the books in which I actually know what they are talking about will be ones with the broadest appeal to everyone, and therefore benefit the greatest number of MobileReaders.

Today's freebie is Learning PHP. There are just short of 21 hours left to claim this ebook.
