Personally, I'm using Calibre as my personal library. I acquire books by buying them using Kobo coupons, by getting them from Delphi, or Feedbooks. Sometimes I have a bout, and add a lot of books (10+) at once. That stopped at around 2014-2015, because as said, I now have everything I wanted/wished/could have wished, and I only add new releases or recommendations.
When I want to read something, I just browse the personal library/bookstore, and pick something.
