I have an old Boyue T61 and an Onyx T68. The light on the Boyue goes very low. I have sensitive eyes and can read on it in a dark room. I find the Boyue to be an excellent reader.The screen is only Pearl but its very clear and pleasant to read on. The lowest brightness level on the T68 is blinding. I imagine Onyx have fixed that on the newer devices. I suggest you ask about brightness levels in the Onyx and Android Devices sub-forums.
