I've been reorganizing my wish lists on Amazon - always a fun time - and stumbled onto a surprise deal. About four years ago, I added Melissa F. Olson's
Dead Spots to one of my lists; it's a book about Scarlett Bernard, a woman around whom the supernatural Does Not Work. As in, she projects a ten-foot circle around her, and if a vampire steps into it, he becomes a normal human while there. According to the blurb, she uses this ability to solve supernatural crimes.
Anyway, as I was checking it today, I noticed that there are two more books in the series - and buying
all three at once confers a significant discount. Instead of the usual $4.99 each, the set of three is a flat $6.00. I've seen series discounts before on Amazon, but never this dramatic.
