BTW--many people in the U.S., especially those who have not visited G.B. have a penchant for saying "Westminister. I cringe when people say it, but don't correct them. Now, if I knew that they were about to take a trip over there, that might be different . . . .

The most famous academic Westminster in the US is Westminster College in Fulton, Mo., where Churchill coined the phrase "Iron Curtain" in 1946.
I have never heard an American say "Westminister."
