Demons by Daylight by British author Ramsey Campbell (ISFDB, Wikipedia), a frequent recipient of the British Fantasy and Stoker Awards, is his vintage collection of supernatural horror short stories which was the 2nd he released, free for a limited time courtesy of publisher Endeavour Press' Venture imprint.

This was originally published in 1973 by Arkham House, and apparently experiments with moving away from his earlier Lovecraftian influences and more into a Nabokov-esque style, according to its Wikipedia entry.
