I think what you're really saying (correct me if I'm wrong) is that you think people who's device have an affiliate of Kobo (as opposed to Rakuten or WH Smith or Fnac or whoever) should for whatever reason be first in line to get any updates?


Most companies don't send out firmware to every device all at once. Apple, Amazon, Samsung, etc. all use a staggered or staged rollout.
