Thanks for (re?) posting that command here, knc1. I'm about to jailbreak an Oasis, and will need that command in 20 or 30 minutes (between other tasks).

edit: I must have already turned off the "safe download" thing, cuz I had no problem. I stopped after step 7, not installing any packages. I just wanted to *have* the jailbreak, in case I later wanted something. Oh, and I created the bock-over-air updates folder, to stay away from 5.8.8 -- just in case.
