Strangely enough, I was only wondering about Bova's Mars yesterday morning. I'm getting towards the end of re-reading Kim Stanley Robinson's excellent Red Mars and for some reason the big battle of the Mars books back in 92/93 came to mind.

Time to finally explore the other option, I think.

I have read probably 1/2 of his Grand Tour novels in various DTB editions. Some are more fun to read than others (none really bad, IMHO), but I enjoyed Mars, and Moonrise and Moonwar were particularly memorable.
