The first four titles in the George Gently series by Alan Hunter have dropped to $1.19 each at Kindle and Kobo US. The titles are:

Gently Does It
Gently by the Shore
Gently Down the Stream
Landed Gently

Please also note that there is also an omnibus of these first four titles, the descriptively named George Gently Omnibus (Books 1-4), currently priced at $6.99. The individual titles on sale above are a better deal than the omnibus right now (to say nothing of not having to split them apart), but if you have a big TBR list, it may be worth a quick check to make sure you haven't already purchased the omnibus - it has been on sale in the past.
