SD cards are STORAGE, not memory,
Something else is the problem: with your HOST PC (where Calibre runs) : with the filesystem on the nook.
Calibre MUST scan the entire device the first time it is connected or reformatted . Once completed, Calibre leaves behind 2 files with the results and device ID.
