The numbers are from the same source as you are citing. We have been saying for quite some time around here that the numbers are inflated with the same sort of things that you talk about in your post.

Btw, if you get your Public Domain books here, they are consistently better than those you get at Amazon. Our posters are much more conscientious about getting it right.
