I can't hold it "sideways". Has to be portrait. My hands don't go that way in a comfortable way. They'd have to turn around like a pretzel.

I also don't like reading on a screen shaped like that. Much wider than tall that is.

But whatever works for one. Whats important is that you are comfortable reading on it.

I am just so happy they came out with it. For my hands and how I read its about perfect and now I don't drop the kindles anymore like I did with the Voyage. The bezels on it are just too small for me. I had nothing to grab onto. With the Oasis, I don't have to try. They gave me plenty real estate and my beloved buttons.

I feel like I have gone full circle from the K1 in 2008 to the Oasis in 2016. Only those 2 devices were ergonomically made for hands in my opinion. And it shows. So much lighter now though. Wedge shape rules.
