Wasn't there recently some regulations that went into place by the EU that required electronic devices to have user replaceable batteries? If this is the case it is going to be difficult for Amazon to bring the Kindle to Europe in this form.

Also, if that regulation is true, how is Apple able to sell the Macbook Air and the new MacBook Pro 17inch in Europe? Both have internal non-user replaceable batteries.
