There is a great variance between individual Kindles as far as color goes, and that includes the PWs, Voyage, and Oasis models. My Voyage is bluish in tint, but thankfully not as pronounced as the OP's Oasis. Nevertheless, that bluish tint makes my eyes sore after a short time of reading. I tried several PW 1s and a few PW 2s when they first came out. Some were reddish in tint and others were bluish. It was just a matter of the luck of the draw in which you got. Poor quality control IMO. In the end, I have given up on eInk except for reading in bright sunlight which requires no lighting, and quite frankly the lighted Kindles cannot even do that very well because that darn plastic light layer causes many issues even when turned off.
