Yes, but if you know that the paper really is white, you can adjust the white balance of the image so that it looks white, and that will then give you a realistic image of the correct colour of the screen, too. That's why, when I take pictures of objects in museums (which have a wide variety of different lighting arrangements) I always start my photo session by taking a picture of a neutral grey card I keep in my camera case for that purpose.
