Another thing Ive considered is simply turning the light off and getting a clip-on reading light with warm light. Though youd be surprised at how hard it is to find such lights with a comfy hue!
I really cant understand the lack of consumer demand in this area.
However, Im getting settled with the Kobo Aura One. The comfort light feels great and although this ereader isnt perfect, sticking with it might be the most convenient thing to do at this point. It is growing on me I admit.

I also have a red LED light keychain where you slide the button to turn it on and keep it on. One could attach something like that to one of those adjustable snake LED clips. Again, not ideal.
I actually just ordered the Oasis today and I have the same desire, so if I think of anything else I'll let you know. I was looking at the Kobo Aura One a bit and considering buying it for the warm light, but I prefer Amazon's features OS features (highlight exporting, vocab flash cards, etc.).
Ultimately I'll probably just keep using the dorky glasses at night while my girlfriend scoffs at me.
