Anonymous Rex is the first in the short 3-book Vince Rubio series by Eric Garcia, about a velociraptor who is a PI in Los Angeles (apparently the dinosaurs didn't go extinct). I haven't read this series, but it sounds wacky enough to maybe give it a try when I'm in that sort of mood. Oh yeah, and this one has dropped to $0.99 at Kindle and Kobo US, so it won't take much money to try...
