Sorry, I saw "Paperwhite" unqualified and thought the original, not the most recent.

That's a lot of Kindles.

If there was something in general wrong with that firmware version, I would think that Amazon CS would be swamped with complaints.

Is there anything you can think of about your social media accounts that might be causing the trouble?
