All of the Kobo's (2 glo's, 2 mini's and a glo HD) that I was able to expand the memory of now have 32gb sd cards in them, it makes it far easier to say sync an update without having to remove books from the internal memory. Which incidentally with over 2900 books on the devices, is a frustrating and time consuming exercise on my 2 6" aura's.

As an aside, I also wish the kinlde paperwhite had a version with 32gb of memory.

i do very much like your idea of being able to change the internal card easily either like you say for if it got corrupted, but also to put a larger GB size card in if you wanted to do so.

btw someone on here brought there 6" Aura back to life by only using the external Micro SD card slot.

best wishes koboy
