What I have done is express my opinion. And explain why I think think that. And said why I think what you have asked for will not come about. In doing that, I am expressing MY opinion. I have NOT said your opinion was wrong. I haven't even really disagreed with it. Any disagreement is on how important these features are. I am completely happy for any device maker to include an external SD card or page turn buttons. And I'm pretty sure I have said that external SD cards are useful (again, maybe not in this thread). But, I don't really have a use for them and am happy with the increasing size of he internal storage. For the page turn buttons, I don't really have an opinion on them. I have never used an ereader with them outside of testing them in a shop, and am quite happy with the way the touch screen works.

So: I'm expressing my opinion. I am expressing a different opinion to you. I am also expressing an opinion on facets of your opinion. I think it is time that YOU accept that other have different opinions and want to discuss them.

And please point out anywhere I have not been polite. I will apologise if needed.

Yes, Australians generally consider they are getting ripped off for tech. But, it's the price we have to pay. And direct comparisons of prices between countries are hard. Beyond the exchange rates, there are taxes and exactly what the local buying power is. And I was using the prices as a comparison. It's about a 20% price difference. As I said, my memory, says the differences are roughly that in most markets. And I am of the opinion that not enough people are willing to pay the 20% extra for these features to make it worthwhile for the companies to produce the device.

Again, my opinion. And one that I am completely happy to have proved wrong.
thank you for your opinion i believe more choice (hardware features) equals more customer's and less vice versa but eh what would i know i'm only one of them.

best wishes koboy
