No one is saying that these features wouldn't appeal to people. But, here's a question for you: How much extra would you pay for them?

The features you are asking for, external SD card, buttons (which includes redesigning the case to fit them and still be strong enough), all the other things you are wanting, will cost Kobo to add to the devices and add software to handle them. How much would you personally pay above the costs of the existing devices to have these things?
