I have spent the last three days lifting grass (well, grass and weeds) from our nature strip by pitchforking it and then hand-sieving and bashing the dirt out of it so I could bag it, then removing some of the soil near the curb and bucketing it up a flight of stairs to the back yard, then shifting 3 cubic metres (about 4 cubic yards) of hoop pine mulch from the driveway to said nature strip, and the front gardens, and shifting (as part of the above) about 3/4 of a cubic metre of 75mm (3") riverstone to all a whole lot of borders and piece-by-piecing them into place, or just shovelling them into a bucket to shift them to some of the garden beds.
I'm sore...but, bloody hell our nature strip and gardens have come up pretty flash!
Cheers,
Marc
