Just to mention, in case you don't know (although you maybe just don't want to bother yourself with it), with koreader you can define your touch zones to your liking.

In your case you can, for example make active only small part of screen to start whatever you like (next or previous page, menu...). Rest of the screen, even if touched wouldn't produce any action as no action is associated with that part.

It wouldn't work as screen lock, as settings would be always that particular way you programmed them (at least till you change settings to react to new touch zones).
