Free (Kindle/Kobo/iTunes) Mistakes Were Made [Kids Investigative Adventure Comedy]

Mistakes Were Made by Stephan Pastis (Wikipedia), the cartoonist behind the Pearls Before Swine newspaper comic strip, is the 1st novel in his Timmy Failure kids/tween comedy investigative adventure series of chapter books illustrated with b&w line drawings, this installment featuring him setting up the world's greatest detective agency (according to him), the better to thwart his enemies and enable his plans to take over the world, free for a limited time courtesy of publisher Walker Books.

Currently free @ Amazon UK & iTunes UK & Kobo UK (available to the UK, and also seemed to be free in EU, Oceania, South America, and Japan when I spot-checked assorted regional stores).

Unlikely to cross the pond, as the North American rights for these are owned by Candlewick.

Description
Meet Timmy Failure, founder of the "best" detective agency in town – Total Failure, Inc. Timmy may only be eleven, but with the help of his polar bear, Total, he already has plans for world domination. Plans that will make his mother rich and unpaid bills a thing of the past. And plans that will defeat Corrina Corrina, "The One Whose Name Shall Not Be Uttered". But she's not going away. Riotously funny, Timmy Failure is sure to have readers in stitches.
