And if you have Kindle Unlimited, you can borrow the Kindle book for free and buy the Audible version for $1.99. Which is what I did recently.
It's a quick listen that's competently written--the literary equivalent of a Lifetime movie. It held my interest and whiled away a few hours without taxing my brain; it's fun but not top-tier suspense. On the strength of this one, I picked up a few more similarly priced Kathryn Croft KU/Whispersync titles.
