The "war" with Amazon over who controls the behavior of the device (Amazon or the Owner) seems to be heating up.

I would have retired from activity here this year, if it hadn't been for this 5.8.8 slap in the face.

Although a "war" between one large, well paid, department of professionals vs. one person with over a half-century of computer science experience seems to be a bit of a mis-match.
I may have to just start taking advantage of some of their system design errors.
My money is on the one person.
