No, only devices that couldn't be charged anymore due to a broken USB port... That
has happend to me: a matter of trying to connect that #$@#$$#@#$ tiny connector the wrong way one time too many (somehow, I always need to try 5 times before it fits... it doesn't matter if I look beforehand or not)
Or micro-usb and Qi charging, that would be even better
No need for cables at all!
