Not directly an answer to your request, but I wrote a tool to support Wallabag in Kobo readers, called Wallabako. It doesn't directly support Koreader just yet, but it's planned. What's missing is basically a "button" to trigger synchronization (otherwise it happens automatically when wifi comes up) and read status synchronization.
