As for cooking the Cooking channel sucks! The only ones I watch or old reruns from PBS, new shows from America's Test Kitchen, and a few more from PBS. I miss the Two Fat Ladies cooking show from England. It was a hoot, but the little old lady who smoked on every show died of cancer--go figure! Do you remember Justin Wilson, the Louisiana comedian and cook? I always liked his cooking show, but he died several years ago too.
I grew up on Justin Wilson. I have 3 of his cookbooks.
