The main attractions of the Oasis are the form factor and the page turn buttons. To enjoy the former, you need to read with it outside the cover. I guess I'd ask how likely you are to fall asleep while reading and let the reader fall to the floor. If at all likely, maybe a Paperwhite would be the better choice.
