Actually I'm not sure whether "Beyond The Book" info is supported at all anymore, even in books synced fom Kobo. All the books I've read lately just show a list of related books when I tap the BTB icon. In the past some publishers made a half-hearted effort to include something relevant to the current book such as maps or photos of locations in the book, but I haven't seen anything like that for a while.
