If you like Charis SIL, I think you'll like my modified version even better. It has better line-height & more weight for more contrast on an eInk screen. You can get it at https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=184056

As for KFX, you get kerning & ligatures (if the font has them) and hyphenation. But you cannot do anything with KFX other than read the eBook as is.
