Is it true that ONYX dare to speak about a MAX2 when most of the users of MAX I know of are far from being satisfied?
I had a simple problem with mine (
stylus calibrated at random points on screen) and I challenge Booxtor or anyone with the guts to miscalibrate their MAX and then look for helpful official support or figure out a simple way to fix something that
renders your 700 USD device completely useless.
I believe ONYX (or any e-reader provider, let apart Amazon) should first release a decent software for their products instead of keeping throwing us extremely expensive hardware paired with crappy software.
I had an M92 and suffered with a known stylus bug and buggy software. Then this with the MAX.
Its a shame because I love eInk. I was waiting for years for a big enough eInk device to read technical papers then when the MAX came out I paid a premium price for this.. a slow android device that became useless with a stylus calibration. No wonder why so many potential users of eInk devices are looking elsewere.
