You could always invest in a fireproof cabinet/file holder. Some are fairly small and not overly expensive.

Of course, you would probably want to investigate what the internal temperature of such a cabinet would reach in the event of a devastating fire and whether that temperature might affect the data stored on a flash drive or an external hard drive.
