the "edit metadata in bulk" in 2.81 no longer allows you to remove specific formats because that function is redundant and can be done via the "remove books" function.

however, it is now a multi-step process (and PITA) because instead of using the pull-down menu in older versions, selecting the format, then clicking "apply", you have to right click, remove books, remove selected formats, highlight then apply and then go through that process again for each format you want deleted.

can anyone help?
