Thanks, tried that but I couldn't get to see the kindle on the PC. Even as I reseted it never appeared on the devices screen, maybe because i used a Passcode (It always asked for the pass when I connected to the PC).

For now, I connected to the Power and will let it there charging overnight (it's 4:21 AM here) hoping that it will fix itself as others users reported on the forum.
