I think #2 will happen in time. However, I think the only way #1 will be solved will be in the same fashion as happened with eReader and Mobipocket DRM'd ebooks - someone will create a Perl or Python script to go through and "illegally" strip out the DRM. Anyone have some .tpz or .azw1 (both valid Topaz-version file extensions) ebooks they want to share out to Dark Reverser or other hackers?
