As I keep telling you, every time the Kobo ereaders do a sync, they check for an update. If there is one, they download it and install it. The only place they check is Kobo's servers. So, the answer to your question, is "probably". And the "probably" is only because Kobo might be using other servers for the distribution, but it is an official Kobo source.

Or are you asking if there is a page somewhere on the Kobo site where you can download the firmware from? Where Kobo announce the updates and put a link? Is that what all these questions have been looking for? If so, it should be obvious by no, but Kobo DO NOT do this. It relies on the devices looking for an update and finding one as they are available.
