I am torn - I really really am the gadget queen and needs the newest usually - but my K1 is working good (except for some Battery issues that may be related to the SD card I am using) I have a battery on order but have no idea when it will come. The thing is I bought my K1 at full price before the Oprah deal - I have the charger for the car for it and a nice red super duper M-Edge cover with the light. So I have invested a bit of change into it - But I suppose that since the car charger is the I-Go charger they will have an adapter for the new one soon so I could still use it. AND with the update for the K1 we just got I can zoom in on pictures and delete from the home page - so I should just wait for K3 to come out right - right --- come on help me here --- Convince me that the K3 will have the SD slot back at least. I've already had to put books on it and I don't even have any free books or other books from anywhere but Amazon (I do have Amazon offered free ones on it though) So I am worried I will fill up the memory on the K1 pretty quickly. . . and I know that Amazon stores my books from there on their site - and that I could store them on my computer but the ease of the SD card beats both of those. .. And I can make a mystery SD, a SciFi SD, a fluffy romance SD etc etc.... so it is kind of like having folders ....
oh I am torturing myself here - all of the above negatives - but the thin, the faster, the more gray scale colors .....
hmmmm maybe if I save up my Amazon rewards, ask for gift certificates for bday and Valentines Day and turn in a bunch of change at CoinStar for Amazon Certs..... then I could justify it --- AND keep my K1 for use for places that may be harder on it than normal - like camping, canoe trips, riding in the golf cart with hubby at shoots, the boat .....
