That's the thing, I'm not getting any errors at all. If I long-press on the book in the list, the "on device" checkbox turns into the animated circle to show that it's downloading, but when it goes back to the square the checkbox is empty. If I go to the book details page it shows the correct metadata, and if I tap download it brings up the download progress message box - which then disappears without actually downloading anything.

As for google drive changing the number, I'm going to try removing and re-adding the book to see if that helps

Yeah, that was it. The number was originally 430, after re-adding the book it became 660 and now it works
