What about those models and firmware versions that do not have room in /var/local for a 32Mbyte swap file?
Even 8th. generation devices only have a 62Mbyte partition size for /var/local.
And the database files in that partition can grow to very large sizes.

Older models have a much smaller /var/local.
In fact, K4 devices have much less and will silently brick if /var/local fills up.

Your only limit is that this is a KUAL extension, but KUAL runs on all models except the K1.

Please do a re-write and include more checking to make this extension safer for the common, non-programmer, person to use.

I suggest that you do not use more than 1/3 of the /var/local free space.
