I already know of one small family-run business that had to liquidate all of their inventory before the deadline, because they can't afford what it takes to ensure that their products are lead-free. At least they still have the eBook part of their business.

Despite their honorable intent, was common sense thrown out the window when they were drafting this piece of legislation?
